Alan Davidson is the Kitchen Cynics. I remember the first time I saw him perform over 10 years ago. In the Tunnels Aberdeen, I had honestly never seen anything like it and was mesmerised. Delicate, unusual, skilful, creepy, beautiful and psychedelic, he is all of these things. With over 100 albums released, Alan is one of the finest exponents of psych-folk in the country and is truly a DIY wonder that attracts genuine acclaim and respect from many established acts and musicians.
